School and club groups will have the chance to live the life of a top flight Netball player at Glasgow Wildcats. We have access to the same state of the art facilities used by the Glasgow Wildcats first team and academy teams, which includes access to the Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena. Official club coaches lead the sessions and you will benefit from their expert knowledge and experience.
Competitive fixtures will allow you to put your new found skills to good use. We can also offer the opportunity to meet the team, tickets to a live fixture and the opportunity to watch the First and Academy teams train all subject to availability. No tour would be complete without a chance to visit Glasgow city centre.
Club Training Facilities
The Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena can accommodate a very wide range of events from arts to sports. Its impressive setting has frequently been the backdrop for some of Scotland’s largest and most prestigious sporting and cultural occasions. Opened in 1987, just two miles from the city centre, it’s well served by public transport and the surrounding area boasts bars, restaurants and hotels. The arena provides a centre for sporting excellence for organised clubs and the general public.
Additional facilities are available at the University of Glasgow. The Stevenson Building, situated on the main university campus includes various facilities, including: multi-activity hall, air-conditioned exercise suite, cardio and strengths suites. The Garscube Sports Complex, just a short distance from the main campus, offers further facilities: all weather football and rugby pitches, Justin Langham fitness suite and exercise studio.
As your tour is tailored to suit every requirement for your group, we offer a range of optional excursions to add value to your tour and maintain a fully packed schedule throughout. Although not exclusively, here’s a taster of some of the excursions we can provide for you subject to availability…
