We cannot control everything in life or turn the clocks back that’s for sure. And this is certainly true with the tragic events that occurred in Sri Lanka earlier this year. Burgess Hill Girls had been looking forward to their Hockey and Netball tour to Sri Lanka for months, only to have their excitement quashed by advice from ABTA and the foreign office against travel there. But hope was not lost, inspiresport got to work and with just three months before the school were due to depart we managed to change the entire tour to include Singapore and Malaysia as host destinations.
