October half term is one of the busiest periods for everyone at inspiresport. This year wasn’t any different.
We successfully sent out 74 tours all over the world. We waved goodbye to Francis Holland School who went on our longest tour for the month. They got to experience the beauty and culture of Sri Lanka and play netball with local teams.
We also got to say hello to four different tours visiting our home city – Cardiff for either a rugby or a multisport tour.
2,640 pupils went on a sports tour this month and thanks to the beautiful images they were sending us throughout the month we got to experience every tour with them. Among the most popular sports were football, hockey, rugby, and netball. Tennis and multisport tours also saw an increase in popularity and we’re convinced they will soon be respectable competitors to other sports.
When we take care of that many people our priority is the group’s peace of mind. To ensure we are a phone call away at all times we had our office hours extended and, as always, we had a 24/7 phone line.
Milan
Some of us even got to travel! To ensure every tour is up to the standard we pride ourselves in we had three people from our HQ go and inspect the Inter Milan tour in Italy’s fashion capital.
Here is what Maciej – our Marketing Executive had to share about the experience: “It was truly amazing to experience the facilities. The magnitude of the stadium was something that completely took me by surprise! Training there would be a truly unique experience, I believe. The culture of Milano is another thing that made a really big impact on me. Enjoying authentic pasta and gelato and under the 28 degrees sun, while my colleagues are freezing in the UK was an added bonus.”
Making time for some fun
Taking care of that many tours can become stressful for some. If you don’t find a good way to relax that is! We made sure to blow off the steam after work in the most positive way possible. It was decided that a good game of hockey would do the job!! We went down to the Ice Arena to support the Cardiff Devils and have some well-deserved fun.
